I make photographs of the beauty that I find in the wild places around me, in the boreal forest and aspen parkland, in the rocky mountains, and the open prairies. My photographs range in style from near-literal representations of a beautiful vista to highly abstracted interpretations of the character of the boreal forest, but in every photograph I am trying to capture something of what I find so inspiring and intrinsically beautiful in the natural world.
